RiseUp Tuition Terms and Conditions

1. Session Recordings:

   • Tutors are required to provide session recordings after each lesson. These recordings are for safeguarding purposes, alongside quality review by administrators. Recordings will be kept confidential.

   • The session recordings will be available for review by the student, for revision purposes. These will only be made available upon request, and it is the student's responsibility to store them. Under no circumstances is the student permitted to share the session recordings, except where legally required

   • 90 days.

2.  Cancellation and Refunds:

   • Tutors and students must provide at least 24 hours notice for session cancellations.

     • Failure to do so by a tutor may result in a penalty or adjustment of tutoring hours.

     • If a student does not follow this, no refunds will be provided for late cancellations.

3.  Punctuality:

   • Students are expected to be punctual for their scheduled sessions. If a student is more than 15 minutes late for a session, the tutor has the right to end the session at the scheduled end time.

4.  Code of Conduct:

   • All participants, including tutors and students, are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct during tutoring sessions. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may lead to termination of services.

5.  Academic Integrity:

   • RiseUp Tuition strictly upholds academic integrity. Students are required to submit their original work and adhere to their school's code of conduct. Any form of plagiarism or cheating is not tolerated.

6.  Privacy and Data:

   • Your privacy is important to us, and we will handle your personal information and academic records with care and confidentiality. We may collect and analyse data for the improvement of our tutoring services.

7. Communication:

   • Tutors are strictly prohibited from engaging in conversations with students outside the scope of RiseUp Tuition. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from RiseUp Tuition.

8. Liability:

   • RiseUp Tuition and its tutors are not liable for academic outcomes or student grades. While we provide support and care deeply about our students, ultimate responsibility for performance rests with the student.

9. Job Offer Guarantee

   • Students who complete at least 5 hours of tutoring with RiseUp Tuition and achieve the requirements  will receive a guaranteed job offer from us. This offer is contingent upon meeting our performance and conduct standards. It does not apply to students who wish to provide personal statement support..​

     • Requirements to tutor GCSEs:​

       • Grade 7 or above.​

     • Requirements to tutor A-Levels and Extended Project Qualification:

       • Grade A or above.​

     • Requirement to tutor Medicine Interviews

       • Received an offer from a Medical School​

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

    • RiseUp Tuition reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated via email.
